Expanded Metal Mesh
Expanded metal Mesh use flat metal plate to sheared and stretched, left intact at the “Knuckles”. It is available in a variety of thickness with different sizes and designs. The strands and knuckles are set a uniform angle to the plane of the sheet. This adds strength and rigidity and distributes the load to support frames. The high strength to weight ratio makes it suitable for many industrial and ornamental applications.

Strand and bond: Expanded is composed of strands and bonds. Strands form the sides of the expanded metal openings. Bonds are where the strands intersect. In other words, the bond is where each diamond shaped opening is connected with the next opening.
